These pages contain the photographic works of Harvey Beitchman. They are images taken during my travels through Europe and North America. There is also a gallery of miscellaneous images such as colours, textures, abstracts and those that just don't seem to fit other categories. You can view them all by clicking on the Home Page link. I consider myself a dedicated photographic "hobbyist" and have been taking photographs for well over 20 years(I don't want to give away my age!). I work in both colour and B&W and formats from 35mm to 6x7cm, and have recently begun working in digital as well. I live in a suburb of Toronto, Canada. At this point about half the images on my website were scanned from colour negatives ranging from 35mm to 6x7cm. I used a Nikon Coolscan 8000ED for this, the others are from digital camera images.
